Ahead Of The Game Foundation is a registered cancer charity providing fully funded physical, mental, and emotional support to individuals with a confirmed cancer diagnosis.

Debbi joined the charity just one month after its conception and went on to help build it into an award-winning organisation. She played a key role in creating the charity’s full infrastructure, including multi-functional websites, internal systems and processes, marketing strategy, social media presence, fundraising platforms, and customer communications. From 2021 to 2025, this work was Debbi’s sole focus and formed the backbone of the charity’s growth, visibility, and impact.
When Tel joined the foundation, he brought his creativity to life across merchandise, flyers, banners, and event materials. Alongside this, he qualified as a Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist Coach, further strengthening the charity’s support offering and mission.

In 2023, this duo supported the full setup and renovation of a Cancer Rehabilitation and Wellbeing Hub in New Brighton, transforming a former care home that was in urgent need of repair. They led the project management of the build and partnerships from start to finish and weren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on with the renovation themselves.

The Northwest Wellbeing Hub is the North West's leading centre dedicated to promoting preventative healthcare and providing a range of complementary therapies.

Debbi played a key role in establishing The NorthWest Wellbeing Hub, working alongside the Cancer Rehabilitation and Wellbeing Hub. She led the creation of the hub’s full digital ecosystem, including intelligent booking systems, automated communications, and complex consultation forms. Alongside this, she developed and delivered the complete digital marketing strategy and campaigns, set up internal systems and team processes, and oversaw day-to-day operations and leadership. Her role also included building partnerships, supporting growth, and creating additional revenue streams, including the setup and delivery of on-site retreats.
When Tel joined, he brought the design to life through merchandise, flyers, banners and visual details throughout the space. Drawing on his background in healthy food, he also became the on-site chef, creating organic smoothies and refreshments. With a natural eye for décor and renovation, he shaped the look and feel of the hub from the inside out. He really is the palm tree of creativity.

The business is closing in January 2026 as a result of extensive building issues, marking a sad loss for the community it served.
Tel Island (Tel's Dream)
Tel Island was Tel's dream after being a chef for over 10+ years. His main focus was providing healthy fast food and promotion of healthy living. It was much loved for its fresh meals and the beautiful decor! Check out its reviews.

Tel created a beautiful café and takeaway venue in Heswall, Wirral, offering fresh, nourishing meals in a space that felt truly special. The outdoor garden became a hub for sound healing sessions, relaxed picnics, and soaking up the sunshine. Stepping inside felt like being transported to a far-away paradise.

This is where Debbi and Tel first met. Drawn in by Tel’s standout Instagram presence and nourishing food, Debbi quickly became a regular. Before long, she brought her digital expertise into the business, streamlining operations with a full website, online ordering functionality, and a personalised café app.
Like many businesses launched before Covid-19, the impact of lockdowns and ongoing restrictions proved challenging, and Tel Island sadly closed in 2021. As a final gesture of gratitude and community spirit, they marked the end of this beautiful chapter by delivering 85 meals to the YMCA at Christmas 2021.

Imagine Hair & Beauty was Debbi's dream after returning from travelling + working around Australia in 2015.

Debbi was first employed by the owner to create the full digital platforms - websites, salon booking calendars, full marketing automations and operational management.
When she was offered to buy the salon in 2014 she jumped to the opportunity to make it her own. Recruiting a specialist team, upskilling staff, introducing client loyalty & referral scheme, online store and online booking. Set up with full automation with confirmations, rescheduling, non-returning clients, SMS marketing and fully automated emails. This salon was THRIVING!

Debbi set up the full operations of the salon to include employed staff, self employed staff, room rentals across hairdressing, beauty, hair extensions and nails.
​
This business was sold in 2019 after the birth of Debbi's second child - Leo :)
